Dental Plans

You’ll have the opportunity to choose a variety of dental plans offering everything from basic care (regular cleanings, x-rays, and preventative care) to coverage for restorative services, fillings, crowns, dentures, as well as orthodontia.

All MetLife Dental Plans offer both in-network and out-of-network options except for the DHMO.

Dental Plan Types

Dental Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) – PrestigePEO offers PPO Plans through MetLife and Guardian. PPO plans give you nationwide access to thousands of dentists and specialists — plus the freedom to visit any licensed dentist.

MetLife PPO

  • Lower out-of-pocket costs with negotiated fees 15–45% below average

  • No balance billing

  • Large network; in-network offices handle claims paperwork

  • Pre-treatment estimate recommended for major services

Guardian PPO

  • 137,000+ providers nationwide

  • Three plan options — all include orthodontia for dependents to age 26, varying annual maximums, and a rollover benefit

  • Rollover applies if you have one paid claim and stay under the claims threshold

  • Teledentistry available for assessments and prescriptions

Dental Health Maintenance Organization Plan (DHMO) – PrestigePEO offers DHMO dental plans through MetLife and Solstice. These plans provide access to a wide range of covered services based on a fixed fee schedule—so there are no deductibles, annual maximums, or waiting periods to worry about.

With Solstice, you don’t need to choose a primary in-network dental provider. You have the flexibility to manage your own care, including the ability to see specialists without a referral. Plus, Solstice features a national provider network, giving you added convenience and access wherever you go.
